Phenol red sodium salt
Phenol Red sodium salt is widely used as a pH indicator. At a pH of 6,4 and below, phenol red solution will have a yellow colour. At a pH of 8,2 and above, it will have a red colour. It is commonly used in culture media to detect neutral to acidic pH changes.
- Phenol Red sodium salt has been used as an indicator during single-guide RNA microinjection into one-cell stage zebrafish embryos
