Catalog Number: (PRTV2150001)
Supplier: PROVITRO
Description: The supplement kit for endothelial cell proliferation medium is suitable for culturing Provitro human endothelial cells after adding the supplement kit components to 500 ml basal medium The formulation is optimised for initial seeding of 4000 cells/cm² up to confluence (approx. 90%). Feeder-layer, matrix substrates or other substances are not necessary. Due to the possibility of reduced proliferative activity we recommend to use the antibiotic supplement for freshly isolated cells only. The supplement kit for endothelial cell priliferation medium is thoroughly tested after each production. All components are tested in a stringent biological assay. Each batch is checked for human endothelial cells proliferating characteristics. The cells cultured in endothelial cell growth medium are checked regarding their morphology, the adherence rate, the colony forming efficiency and the population doubling time.
UOM: 1 * 500 mL

Catalog Number: (PRTV2150601)
Supplier: PROVITRO
Description: The supplement kit designed for cultivating human smooth muscle cells (HSMC) provides an optimised formulation for promoting growth and maintaining the health of these cells. Upon adding the components of the supplement kit to a 500 ml basal medium, a specialised environment is created to support the culture of HSMCs. The formulation is specifically tailored for the initial seeding of 4000 cells per square centimeter, aiming to achieve confluence at approximately 90%. Due to the possibility of reduced proliferative activity we recommend to use the antibiotic supplement for freshly isolated cells only. All components are subjected to rigorous biological assays. Each batch is specifically examined for the proliferating characteristics of human smooth muscle cells (HSMC). The cells cultured in the smooth muscle cell growth medium undergo thorough assessments, including examination of their morphology, adherence rate, colony-forming efficiency, and population doubling time.

Supplier: Corning
Description: Type IV Collagen is a ubiquitous component in basement membranes and provides the major structural support for this matrix. When the Collagen IV meshwork is assembled, it provides a scaffold for the assembly of other basement membrane components through interactions with laminin, entactin/nidogen, and heparan sulfate proteoglycan. Collagen IV is useful as a substrate for growth of epithelial, endothelial, muscle, and nerve cells. Collagen plays a role in the regulation of cell growth, differentiation and adhesion, as well as tissue formation

Supplier: HyClone products (Cytiva)
Description: HyClone Classical Liquid Media: Iscove's Modified Dulbeccos Medium (IMDM) is manufactured using ISO 9001:2000-certified processes.
Supplier: BIOWEST
Description: Trypsin is a porcine pancreas-derived enzyme that is commonly used for the dissociation and disaggregation of anchorage-dependent mammalian cells and tissues. The concentration of trypsin necessary to dislodge the cells from their substrate depends on the sensitivity of the cells.
Supplier: G-Biosciences
Description: Protease-PhosphataseArrest™ provides full protection of protein samples from proteases and phosphatases released during the preparation of cell and tissue lysates. Protease-PhosphataseArrest™ contains both irreversible and reversible protease inhibitors to inhibit serine, cysteine and other proteases along with five phosphatase inhibitors that target all the phosphatase categories: serine/threonine (Ser/Thr) specific, tyrosine specific and dual specificity phosphatases.

Supplier: Greiner Bio-One
Description: PS, coated with rat tail collagen type I. Collagen type I is an extracellular matrix protein, which in vivo influences adhesion, migration and proliferation, amongst other processes. Many otherwise difficult-to-cultivate cells adhere to collagen type I and show positive growth behaviour. For certain cell lines collagen type I also has an influence on differentiation and morphology.

Supplier: Corning
Description: Collagen I, found in most tissues and organs, is most plentiful in dermis, tendon, and bone. It is an integral part of the framework that holds cells and tissues together and has been recognized as a useful matrix for improving cell culture. In vitro use of collagen can exert effects on the adherence, morphology, growth, migration, and differentiation of a variety of cell types.
