Description: Resazurin (7-hydroxy-10-oxidophenoxazin-10-ium-3-one, sodium) is a blue fluorogenic dye used as a redox indicator in cell viability and proliferation assays for bacteria, yeast or mammalian cells.
Catalog Number: STMC75005
UOM: 1 * 5 g
Supplier: STEMCELL Technologies

Description: Resazurin is a non-toxic, water-soluble and redox-sensitive dye that changes from its blue/non-fluorescent state to pink/highly-fluorescent upon reduction to resorufin by many biological processes.
Catalog Number: AATB15700
UOM: 1 * 100 mg
Supplier: AAT BIOQUEST

Description: MTT, XTT, and resazurin are reduced by mitochondrial metabolic activity to yield coloured or fluorescent products, and thus are useful for and assaying cell viability and quantitating cell number. MTT and XTT are reduced to coloured formazin salts that can be measured by absorbance. MTT generates an insoluble formazin salt, requiring cell lysis before the absorbance can be measured, while XTT does not require cell lysis for measurement. Resazurin is a non-fluorescent blue dye that is reduced to the pink fluorescent compound resorufin, which can be measured by fluorescence or absorbance.
Catalog Number: 30025-2
UOM: 1 * 1 KIT
Supplier: Biotium

Description: Anaerobic Agar (Brewer) is recommended for the isolation and sensitivity testing of anaerobic and microaerophilic organisms and study of colonial morphology. The medium contains sodium thioglycollate and sodium formaldehyde sulphoxylate which provides adequate anaerobiosis. Resazurin imparts pink colour to the media in presence of oxygen. Clostridium species grows luxuriantlly on the media.
