Individual strips can be removed from the support frame so that the number of tests to be performed can be adjusted to the number of samples, and is not predetermined by the microplate format used. Strip plates are available with high binding surfaces that display a higher protein binding capacity for polar proteins (MICROLON® 600), medium binding surfaces, which are more hydrophobic and are therefore better suited for non-polar proteins and peptides (MICROLON® 200), black (FLUOTRAC™) or white (LUMITRAC™). These plates are also available with a choice of well profile: C-bottom, U-bottom or F-bottom.
