Catalog Number: (ENZOALX804320C200)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: Microcystins are extremely toxic compounds produced by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae), belonging to species of Microcystis, Oscillatoria, Anabaena and Nostoc. The contamination of drinking water or water of recreational areas can cause severe health problems to exposed humans and animals. Microcystins possess a cyclic heptapeptide structure of the general composition cyclo(-D-Ala-L-X-D-erythro-β-methylisoAsp-L-Y-Adda-D-iso-Glu-N-methyldehydroAla), where Adda is the unusual C20 aa 3-amino-9-methoxy-2,6,8-trimethyl-10-phenyldeca-4,6-dienoic acid and X and Y are variable L-aa.

Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: Cell permeable inhibitor of necrosis. Selectively blocks oxidative stress-induced necrotic cell death (~3 µm IM-54 prevented ~50% cell death in HL60 cells exposed to 100 µm H2O2). Does not protect against etoposide-induced apoptosis or display antioxidant properties. Does not affect S6K1 and PKC kinase activities at concentrations of 50 µm.

Catalog Number: (ENZOALX270427M005)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: Selective COX-1 inhibitor (IC50=9nM). Shows 700-fold more selectivity over COX-2 (IC50=6.3µM). Inhibits COX-1-derived platelet thromboxane B2, gastric PGE2, and dermal PGE2 production. Orally active in rat.
UOM: 1 * 5 mg

Catalog Number: (ENZOALX270358M005)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: Potent inhibitor of glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK-3β) (IC50=390nM).
UOM: 1 * 5 mg

Catalog Number: (ENZOALX803304C100)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: CD51 (integrin αV subunit) associates with CD61 (integrin β3 subunit) binding to the RGD sequence in extracellular matrix proteins like vitronectin, fibrinogen, thrombospondin, von Willebrand factor and osteopontin. The αV/β3 heterodimer is expressed in endothelial cells, leukocytes, NK cells, macrophages, neutrophils, platelets and several malignant tumor cells and seems to play a role in embryo implantation, angiogenesis, wound healing and cancer. αV/β3  is also highly expressed in osteoclasts being important for bone resorption.
UOM: 1 * 100 µG

Catalog Number: (ENZOADI905744100)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: The opioid receptors δ, κ, and μ are members of the seven-transmembrane domain-containing receptor family of G-protein coupled receptors. δ- and μ-receptors serve as functional receptors for endogenous enkephalin and β-endorphin peptide ligands, respectively. δ-opioid receptors are highly expressed in the olfactory bulb, neocortex, caudate putamen and nucleus accumbens, with peripheral expression in the gastro-intestinal tract and vas deferens. δ-receptors inhibit neurotransmitter release resulting in a variety of biological effects including analgesia, motor integration, gastro-intestinal motility, olfaction, respiration, and memory. Neural μ-receptor expression is prominent in the caudate putamen, neocortex, thalamus, nucleus accumbens, hippocampus, and amygdala, as well as in peripheral nervous tissues in the gut. Named for its pharmacological mediation of analgesia by morphine, the μ receptor typically functions as a depressant in physiological processes including respiration, cardiovascular function, gastrointestinal motility, and thermoregulation.
